Data when you order

To process an order we need your name, your address and your email address. We use them to fulfil the contract: delivery, invoice, questions.

This data is only passed on as far as the order requires:

Payrexx AG (Switzerland) for payment. You enter your payment details there directly; we never see them.
Swiss Post for shipping, with your name and address.
Bexio AG (Switzerland) for invoicing and accounting.

We keep invoice data for as long as the statutory retention period of ten years requires.

The newsletter runs on listmonk on our own server. We store your email address and your language. Your subscription only takes effect once you confirm it via the link in the confirmation email. Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link; after you unsubscribe, the address is deleted.

The newsletter emails are sent through the delivery service Brevo (France). Brevo processes your email address solely on our behalf for delivery and records for us whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. We do not pass this data on.

Statistics

We count page views with Matomo on our own server. Our Matomo sets no cookies and respects your browser's Do Not Track setting: if it is enabled, nothing is recorded. The data stays with us and is not shared with any third party.

Cookies

For the basket we set a technically necessary session cookie. It contains only a random identifier and expires when you close your browser. We set no other cookies.

Servers and storage location

Website, order data, newsletter and statistics are held on our servers in Switzerland, Germany and France.

Your rights

Under the Swiss Data Protection Act you can ask what data we process about you and request its correction or deletion. An email to info@theshinyvaseproject.ch is enough. Data we are legally required to keep can only be deleted once the retention period has expired.
